Learning How to Talk About the Gods in the Bible

 


Exploring the Stories of the Ten Commandments teaches us how to talk about “the gods” in those stories. I know that words “the gods” sounds strange to Christians and Jews today, but keep in mind that neither Christianity nor Rabbinic Judaism existed when the Torah scroll was written. There are references to a number of gods in Exodus. Exploring those references is helps us learn about them, as well as discovering our own belief models about God. Continue reading at -
