The Parable of Eliezer and the Unnamed Rich Man

Rich men spend lots of money on things like monuments to make sure their names will be remembered. This rich man is “just an unnamed rich guy.” He flamboyantly displayed his wealth by the clothes he wore and his lifestyle. The poor man is named -- Eliezer – and he was probably not on the guest list! He didn’t show up in expensive clothes – he was covered with sores.
