A New Ancient Standard for Determining Good or Evil Actions

If you live in the DFW area you have probably heard the news report about two adults who got into an argument over a stuffed animal at a “family friendly restaurant.” One of them pulled out a gun and started shooting – wounding a doctor who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I have no information about the crime other than what the media has reported, but things like this happen so often they have become the norm. Just in the DFW area over the past few weeks people have been shot because of road rage, teens getting into arguments, a man killing his girlfriend and her sister (and wounding an infant) on a college campus, etc. I am pretty sure that any of you can google “shootings” in your area and will find similar stories. A horseman was stationed far away but within sight of him. If one [of the judges] says, ‘I have something [more] to say in his favor,’ he [the signaler] waves the   sudarin , and the horseman runs and stops them [from stoning him]. Even if [the condemned person] himself says, ‘I have something to say in my favor,’ they bring him back, even four of five times, only provided that there is some substance to...

Deuteronomy and the Creation of Messianic Realities

Moses led the tribes of Israel to the place they stopped and could see the Promised Land. As they stood there, a cloud moved above the door of the Tabernacle. God would soon inaugurate Joshua to lead the people into their new homeland. But, only Moses heard what God said about the future of the new nation.
