Early Christianity is the period from the beginning of the second century CE until 325. As Christianity spread throughout other nations and Gentiles became Christians, five centers of Christianity emerged -- Jerusalem, Antioch, Rome, Alexandria and Byzantium (renamed Constantinople in 330 CE). The witnesses, laying their coats at the feet of Saul, were the men that would cast the first stones at Stephen in Acts 7. Why did they all lay their coats at Saul’s feet?
