Why Do the Images of God Continue to Kill Each Other?

 

As many of you already know, the teachings of Jesus in Matthew, Mark, and Luke are very different from John – and Paul’s Christ. Christians have a difficult time seeing that, but Jewish rabbis usually instantly recognize the importance of the teachings of Jesus. Rabbi Jeffrey Leynor was one of those rabbis. He said, “I think the Jewish Jesus would be much more comfortable at my synagogue than any church. Jesus was a Jew. He was raised in a Jewish home by Jewish parents.
